CNC Turned Flanges

CNC turned flanges are precision-machined connection components produced from forged or rolled metal bars using multi-axis CNC turning centers. Engineered for high-pressure and critical fluid systems, these components undergo controlled machining to achieve exact bolt circle diameters, face flatness, and bore tolerances.

Our production facility operates 35 advanced CNC turning lathes and vertical turning centers (VTCs), supporting outside diameters up to 800 mm with single-setup machining capabilities. This process eliminates repositioning errors, ensuring concentricity and perpendicularity meet strict ASME B16.5 and EN 1092-1 standards.

Integrated Face & Bore Turning: Machined in a single clamping operation to maintain strict perpendicularity between the sealing face and the bore centerline.

Controlled Surface Texture: Surface roughness parameters (Ra) held strictly between 1.6 um and 3.2 um on gasket contact areas to ensure proper gasket bite and leak prevention.

Optimized Chip Evacuation: High-pressure coolant-through tooling prevents thermal distortion during heavy roughing passes on alloy and stainless steel blanks.

Full Material Traceability: Raw material mill test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) laser-etched onto the outer rim alongside heat numbers and part IDs.

Oil & Gas Infrastructure: High-pressure gathering lines, compressor station manifolds, and wellhead valve connections.

Chemical Processing: Corrosive fluid transport systems requiring high-alloy material grades (316L, Duplex).

Power Generation: Boiler feed-water loops, turbine auxiliary systems, and cooling water headers.

Manufactured strictly to customer CAD drawings, STEP files, or physical samples, with full support for engineering formats including STEP, IGES, and DWG.

Custom Geometries: Non-standard inner diameters, altered hub lengths, and recessed cavity designs.

Specialized Materials: Machining from customer-supplied forgings or specialized corrosion-resistant alloys (Titanium, Hastelloy).

Marking & Packaging: Custom laser etching (part numbers, heat codes, logo) and anti-corrosion VCI vacuum sealing for ocean freight.

Operated under a certified ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, with specialized capabilities meeting PED 2014/68/EU directive requirements for pressure equipment manufacturing.

Dimensional Verification: 100% inspection of critical interface dimensions using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and digital bore micrometers.

Surface Roughness Testing: Portable profilometers used to verify gasket contact surface Ra values against specification limits.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): Optional Dye Penetrant Testing (PT) on machined surfaces and ultrasonic testing (UT) on raw forgings upon request.

Documentation: Inspection reports, material test reports (MTR), and dimensional check sheets delivered prior to shipment.

Facility Capacity: Automated bar-feed CNC lathes running 24/7 for high-volume orders, alongside flexible cells for short-run custom batches.

Lead Time: 14 to 25 days depending on material availability and batch size; expedited prototype runs available in 7 days.

Export Packaging: Individually separated in heavy-duty plywood crates with edge protectors to prevent thread or sealing face impact during transit.
